OPIS PARKU: PLAYGROUND CAN BE USED AS WORKOUT* Monkey bars, 2 basketball courts- On August 15, 1972 the Southern Area Committee approved plans for the Silver Wing site to include a multipurpose field, a tot lot area, a basketball court, and picnic areas. Construction began January 1974, the building and park were dedicated on May 8, 1976, and the Otay Mesa Recreation Council was officially recognized on March 2, 1977. The park sign was dedicated April 18, 1987.We are not the park with the big silver aircraft wing monument, that park is Montgomery-Waller Community Park.
